<p>The &#8216;before&#8217; picture, below, shows the majority of the garden completely cut off from her; now she can scoot up the ramp on to the lawn and thus get at the whole garden.</p>
<p><img src="http://john-gilbert.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/other_garden.jpg" alt="Garden for Disabled User - Before" /></p>
<p><img src="http://john-gilbert.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/ramp_two.jpg" alt="Garden for Disabled User - After" /></p>
<p>The redesigned garden includes a ramp which leads up to the lawn on the higher level and a set of conventional steps.</p>
<p><img src="http://john-gilbert.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/ramp_one.jpg" alt="Garden for Disabled User - Ramp Detail" /></p>
<p>Detail showing the junction of the ramp, made of resin-bonded aggregate to ensure a good grip, and the paved patio.</p>
